Our official hours are approximately 9:00am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday and 9:00am to 1:00pm Saturdays. We are always closed Sundays and most bank holdays.
Since Simon’s departure we have been working 6 days a week and this is proving to be unsustainable. So, to recharge our batteries, we have decided to take a long weekend off each month.
To enable our customers to plan around these closures, the weekend will always be the first Friday to Monday that falls wholly within each month. For clarity purposes a list of 2026 closure dates is shown at the bottom of the page.
In the same way that we sometimes sleep in we don't mind extending them, by appointment, for our customers who need us to. Especially as we regularly have more work to do than we can fit into these hours ourselves.
We don't close for lunch, but, occasionally there may only be one of us on duty, so we may need to close briefly for comfort breaks.

We will always answer the phone when we are able but our little shop is quite often very busy, especially around lunch time and the first and last hours of trading. So please accept our apologies if the phone doesn't always get answered.
