Upgrades
One of the cheapest, simplest and most beneficial upgrades you can have done to a flagging computer is to upgrade the memory. If, for example, you have a Windows XP machine with only 256 Mb of memory having a 512Mb piece added will typically double the overall speed of everything you do. Have a look at the table below to check the optimum amount of memory for your needs. To find out just how much memory your machine has simply right-click the 'My Computer' icon on your desktop, then click properties.

If you have at least the memory appropriate from the table above and your computer is running like a slug with a cold then we have other solutions generally depending on the age of your computer.
For computer less than 3 years old Optimisation is usually the best course of action. Click here for more details.
For computers more than 5 years old there is a range of upgrade options, from simply adding a graphics card, so that the burden of the work processing the image on your screen is taken from the main processor - thus making your whole computer quicker. To replacing the motherboard, processor and memory. This usually results in the need to reinstall windows but the cost can be as little as £172.50 for 6.0Ghz of processing power with 2Gb's of memory, 5.1 Surround Sound, Nvidia 6150 graphics and Gigabit LAN.
Computers between these ages vary depending on their original specification. But whatever the age of your computer we can help you realise its full potential. Please note that prices are correct at the time of writing but do vary both up and down.
